Appendix 7 – Bids for Activities in the Cultural and Sports Arena
Organizations may submit proposals under the call for proposals, based on their work and desire to engage in the areas of activity detailed in this appendix and to the relevant audiences below:

Areas of activity:
- Reducing the impact of cultural and sports boycotts against Jews and Israelis at cultural and sports events.
- Increasing the presence and positive visibility and strengthening the status of Israeli culture and sports in the international arena.
- Supporting reputable and international sports clubs and cultural institutions in adopting the working definition of antisemitism.
- Reducing the offensive action capacity of those who create antisemitism and delegitimization and reducing manifestations of antisemitism at cultural and sporting events.
- Any other activity that provides an effective response to the challenges that exist in this arena.
Relevant target audiences:
- Influencers and opinion leaders in the worlds of culture and sports.
- International cultural institutions with a world reputation (museums, galleries, festivals, theaters, publishing houses).
- International and national sports governing bodies, clubs, leagues.
- Agents, producers, curators, cultural critics and sports commentators.
Highlights for submitting bids:
- While approving proposals, no payments will be made from the project budget that constitute support.
- proposals must include details of the measurement and control tools for the proposed activity (accompanying research/mappings/surveys, etc.).
- It is recommended to include a verbal explanation of the expenses included in the bid budget.
Success metrics (examples):
- A documented and significant decline in responses to calls for a cultural/sports boycott against Israel by artists, athletes, and leading institutions.
- Creating an active and influential international network of Cultural and Sports Ambassadors who oppose boycotts and support dialogue.
- An improvement in public perception and media coverage of Israeli culture and sports in target countries and at relevant international events.
- Wider acceptance of the IHRA definition or similar principles by major cultural and sporting bodies.
- A statistically significant decrease in reports of antisemitic incidents at public events.
- An increase in the number of institutions implementing policies against antisemitism.
